# Components:
→ Bread & Sandwich Fillings
01 - 8 slices whole wheat or white sandwich bread
02 - 4 tablespoons cream cheese
03 - 4 tablespoons peanut butter (or sunflower seed butter for nut-free)
04 - 4 tablespoons strawberry jam
05 - 4 slices cheddar cheese
06 - 4 slices turkey or ham (optional)
→ Edible Train Tracks & Decorations
07 - 2 large celery stalks
08 - 1 cup pretzel sticks
09 - 16 round cucumber slices
10 - 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
11 - 1 red bell pepper
12 - 1 yellow bell pepper
13 - 1 cup baby carrots
# Directions:
01 - Cut bread slices into rectangles for train cars and one larger shape for the engine using a cookie cutter or knife. Create assorted sandwiches by spreading cream cheese and cucumber, peanut butter and jam, cheddar with turkey or ham, or other preferred fillings. Assemble and gently press the sandwiches together.
02 - Place celery stalks parallel on a large platter to form rails. Lay pretzel sticks across the celery at intervals forming cross-ties.
03 - Position sandwich rectangles atop the celery tracks as train cars. Attach cucumber rounds and cherry tomato halves as wheels using a small dab of cream cheese if needed. Decorate the engine with bell pepper slices representing details and windows.
04 - Arrange baby carrots, extra cucumber rounds, and additional vegetables around the platter for snacking and visual appeal.
05 - Serve immediately, allowing children to engage by moving 'train cars' along the edible tracks before eating.
